St. Anthony School, on the grounds of St. Anthony Church, in Bristol, Connecticut is a pre-kindergarten through grade eight Catholic School under the Archdiocese of Hartford Office of Catholic Schools. The curriculum stresses academic achievement within a Christian community where the child feels that he/she is loved and respected by peers and teachers. United with each other in meaningful liturgy and prayer, the students can further come to an understanding of the Christian life. Here at St. Anthony School, we do our best to "teach as Jesus did." The curriculum guidelines set forth by the Archdiocese of Hartford, Office of Catholic Schools, consistent with the State of Connecticut guidelines, are followed in the teaching of all secular subject areas. The curriculum is marked by current content and fresh approaches to methodology to keep our school competitive in the 21st century. We strive to offer a program that is interdisciplinary in approach, using a wide range of audio-visual and technology tools that will enhance student learning.
