Catholic Schools Week was busy and enjoyed by all. Now it's back to work! In one month we will be taking the IOWA tests. Because of all of the activities last week, we were not able to adequately prepare for the puppet show so we have postponed it until Wednesday, February 15 at 9:00. I'm sorry if this causes any inconvenience. The puppet show will take under 30 minutes and all are welcome.
On Tuesday, we will be walking to the Christian Fellowship Center. There will be 2 social studies test this week. The first will be on Wednesday. Students will write the names of the Northeast Region states on a map along with their capitals and abbreviations. On Friday, there will be a test on the vocabulary from Chapter 6. In science, we will discuss the digestive system. Then, we will talk about nutrition culminating with a nutrition brochure done with Mr. Glenn. In Math, we will begin measurement.
We will have a Valentine's party on Tuesday, February 14. Students may bring in Valentines, one for each student. I will send home a class list and will supply a treat for the party.
